Mutual Life Africa Affiliate Program – Terms of Service

Agreement

By registering as an Affiliate in the Mutual Life Africa Affiliate Program (“Program”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

Mutual Life Africa may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will take effect immediately upon being posted on our platform. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Violation of these Terms may result in the suspension or termination of your Affiliate Account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

Eligibility & Account Terms

• You must be 18 years or older to join the Program.
• The Program is open globally to individuals and organizations.
• Accounts must be registered by real persons only – automated signups, bots, or scripts are not permitted.
• You must provide your full legal name, valid email address, PayPal email address, and any other details requested during signup.
• Each Affiliate may maintain only one active account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account and login details.
• You may not use your affiliate link to generate commissions on your own Mutual Life Africa purchases or policies.

Referral Links & Marketing Materials

• Affiliates will receive a unique referral link and may use approved banners, creatives, and marketing materials provided by Mutual Life Africa.
• You may not modify Mutual Life Africa’s logos, trademarks, or materials without prior approval.
• Affiliates are responsible for ensuring referral links are properly formatted and functional to ensure accurate tracking.
• All promotion must comply with advertising laws, anti-spam regulations, and financial services marketing rules in your jurisdiction.

Commissions & Payments

• Commissions are credited immediately when a valid referral results in a completed purchase or policy signup through your referral link.
• Payouts are made daily by 5 PM (Johannesburg time) via bank transfer or PayPal, provided your PayPal email address is active and correct.
• All commissions are calculated and paid in USD. Commissions from sales in other currencies are automatically converted to USD.
• There is no minimum payout threshold—you are paid daily on what you’ve earned.
• Fraudulent, misleading, or self-referrals will not be paid and may result in account termination.

Responsibilities of Affiliates

• You may not make false or misleading claims about Mutual Life Africa’s products or services.
• You may not promote policies as investment products, guaranteed returns, or financial advice.
• You must comply with all local marketing, financial promotion, and consumer protection laws in your country of operation.
• You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in line with FTC and global disclosure requirements (e.g., “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link”).

Customer Ownership

Customers who purchase through your referral link are Mutual Life Africa’s customers. All pricing, servicing, underwriting, and support are handled exclusively by Mutual Life Africa. Affiliates do not have authority to represent, negotiate, or modify customer terms.

Termination

Mutual Life Africa reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate any Affiliate Account at its discretion.
• Withhold or cancel commissions earned through fraud, spam, misrepresentation, or prohibited marketing practices and or take legal action against affiliates.
• End the Program at any time, with commissions up to the termination date paid out as scheduled.

Relationship of Parties

Affiliates are independent marketers, not employees, partners, or agents of Mutual Life Africa. Affiliates cannot make claims, commitments, or representations on behalf of Mutual Life Africa.

Limitation of Liability

Mutual Life Africa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program. Liability is limited to the total amount of commissions paid to you.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Mauritius, and where applicable, the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Affiliate operates. Any disputes will be resolved through confidential arbitration in Mauritius unless otherwise required by law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mutual Life Africa regarding the Affiliate Program. No prior agreements, communications, or understandings shall apply.
